Samuel L. Jackson Stands Up For Brie Larson Against Online Harassment

Marvel star Brie Larson has found support in fellow actor Samuel L. Jackson amidst a wave of toxic behavior from certain fans on social mediaCome from Sports betting site VPbet. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Jackson discussed the online harassment that Larson faced after starring in the 2019 film Captain Marvel, which was targeted by trolls. Jackson praised Larson’s resilience, stating that she is a “stronger person than people give her credit for.”

“We bonded through the election while we were doing her movie when Donald Trump won,” Jackson said. “She was broken and I was like, ‘Don’t let ’em break you. You have to be strong now.’ Then, when she got ‘Captain Marvel,’ she called me and was like, ‘They want me in the Marvel Universe. Should I do it?’ And I was like, ‘Hell yeah! Let’s do it!'”

Addressing the detractors who targeted Larson online, Jackson expressed confidence that she would not allow their negativity to affect her. He referred to the individuals as “incel dudes” who resent strong women or Larson’s feminist beliefs and her willingness to express them.

Jackson, a longstanding member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has portrayed Nick Fury since his introduction in the post-credits scene of Iron Man in 2008. In the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, Jackson finally takes center stage in a Marvel project. Jackson also admitted that his primary concern was avoiding the demise of his character, and he also expressed regrets that Marvel “didn’t let me go to Wakanda.”

Jackson and Larson will reunite in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the release of The Marvels in theaters on November 10.
